Cartoon collage

 We have been learning to create our own cartoon characters.

We created our cartoons from blocks of shapes and png images.

To create these cartoons we used the remove.bg website to get rid of the backgrounds of any images we searched for that still had a background. Some of us used different textures and cut them into shapes using the crop masking tool. We also rotated images to get them to face the way we wanted by two finger tapping and choosing rotate horizontally.

Something we found challenging was trying to get the image we wanted with no background. It was hard because remove.bg only works with png and jpeg images. To solve this we downloaded it first in google Drawing as a png image.

Kawa of Care comics

We have been learning to use google drawing and learning about the kawa of care. We have also found out how to download our google drawing creation.

These are our Kawa of care comics.

We created these by using the template that was provided and adjusting it to how we wanted it to look. Some of the adjustments we made were: Changing the background, adding png images (because they have no background) to show figures doing different actions. We also added text in speech bubbles or callouts to share our kawa of care tips.

We are proud of our comics because they show what we've learnt and the tips about the kawa of care in a creative way.

Something that was quite challenging was fitting all of the images in our cartoon frame. We resized our characters from the corner to get them to fit.

Our tips about caring for your devices are:

1. Don’t put things on top

2. No food or drink

3. Keep it on a flat surface.

4. Charge it while you’re not using it

5. Tell the teacher if it breaks.

6. Keep passwords to yourself

7. Sign out
